Alright, it is very close now. For those of you who I haven't yet gotten a hold of, tomorrow is the tailgater. We will be leaving Brentwood at roughly 2pm. If you are leaving from elsewhere try and get to the D lot of the Coliseum at 3:30. Almost everything is purchased, save for charcoal and ice. Try and call me today if you can (925) 354-1057. We have the MVP and Cy Young, they have a white-faced chapuchin monkey. Go A's.

Welcome back. Very little has changed but it's been long enough since the last update to justify another one. As of last Friday, June 6, 2003, the tickets arrived in the mail. Also, on May 11, I sat in the section we are in to check it out and despite what the A's website says, the picture I have of our seats is inaccurate. Our seats are all in foul territory and much closer to the action. As of yesterday, Rickert paid. Also in the past there was a post about the chili. I'll find a new recipe for those who feel chili needs beans. Email me to confirm please so I can see how many extra tickets I'll have and try and get people for those. Hope to hear from you soon.

Happy Cinco de Mayo. I have pretty much everything up an running as I would like now. I have added the sound about a week ago. I became aware that my site does not load up to well on Danny's Macintosh, but he is the only Mac user I know so its more of a "his problem, not mine" type of thing. Today I added this: A DETAILS WINDOW. It's not an elaborate page, but instead a bare bones details page for you to enjoy. That is all for now. I probably won't be doing anything else on this site other than updating the guestlist for a while. Get on letting me know your status so I can keep this up to date so everyone knows who is coming and so if it comes down to it I can try and invite more people. So I bid you adieu from the update sector of my page until late June, when I will let you know all about all the important details I have forgotten to tell you so far. Go A's.

Hi! Its been a while since I've last updated. I have some more ideas for the sight, although I do not know when I will get to them. Maybe today. I will start putting up a guest list of who is going. I suppose that will be the only thing I will change soon. I want music for the site, an instrumental "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" but I've been having some problems with that, you'll hear it if I get it figured out. Go A's.

How is everyone doing? I've added more pictures, but would like your help with the menu. I need more ideas. What has everyone liked in the past. Also, remember how Fox Sports video taped "Bobb's Second Annual Tailgating Party Part Deux II" and I was shown before the Fox Sports Game of the Week on TV because the camera-man thought we had a sweet setup? That was cool, I want to be on TV again. Also, I am planning on having trail mix and peanuts (see left) individually packaged again for your game time snacking enjoyment. Are these good choices? Nobody has complained about them, so I think so. Let me know what you'd prefer to snack on during the game. No difficult requests, I'm not that much like a mom. The A's lost today, but they are hotter than a girl in a cowboy hat driving an SUV for the season. Go A's.

Alright, I've learned how to put up some pictures. Check for little ones spotted throughout the site I'll keep adding more until it reaches the level of tacky. Some more general pictures have been added to photos. A tentative menu is up. I'm not too sure about side dishes. Any ideas? You know how to get a hold of me. The A's won big today as per usual.

Welcome to my first update. I hope all the links are working. I have renovated the website, I think this will make it a lot more user friendly, especially if I ever have a lot of stuff on here. I recommend higher resolution moniter settings for the framed version. Now you can confirm by posting in the guestbook. I know there are some problems with the non framed version, I'll work to correct those. Enjoy...89 days to the tailgater and 93 days until the theatrical release of Pirates of the Caribbean. Ahrrr...

Hey all, first off I would like to welcome each and everyone of you to my first webpage. I am very new to this so I'm sure it's not the prettiest thing in the world, but it's what we get. It's that time of year again for me to inform you of the tailgater. All the details are included on this page, the tickets are purchased and the following should let you know whatever you need to know. I'll start with a primer for newbies, here is the basic run down of events:

1) We go to the Network Associates Coliseum about 3 hours before an A's game and barbeque.

2) After the actual tailgating festivities, we head into the stadium and watch the game (it won't be five hours long like some people say =), but the game isn't manditory so you can just tailgate with us if baseball isn't your thing, I know everyone likes BBQ).

3) We watch the game and wait for my name to be shown on the scoreboard and then we clap, the A's will win and I will get weird looks from some of you for the fanatical nature of which I watch A's games.

4) After the game some go down to the field and others stay in the stands and we watch the pyrospectacular show.

Here are more specifics:

1) Lets get the cost out of the way, $28 for the whole show (ticket, food, beverage, etc), quick payment is appreciated but not mandatory, sorry for the price hike, not my fault...

2) The date is Saturday, July 5, 2003.

3) Gametime is at 6:05pm. which means we'll try and get to the Coliseum a tid bit after 3pm

4) There will be a rib cookoff so be prepared for that, I will win the trophy and will have my picture taken with all of you and my trophy, we'll add this cookoff to the annual plan, but it might be chili or something else next year, we'll what challenges I'll be presented with.

5) They are playing the current, but not repeating World Champion Anaheim Angels.

On a personal note, this event is the highlight of my summer, and I hope to see all of you there. Its fun, I promise, we have people from Oklahoma and Virginia flying in for this so the vast majority of you Californians better be there, okay? Email me at freitasbj@yahoo.com to confirm, or you can post in the guestbook, or give me at call at (925) 354-1057 or, of course, bofre82 on AIM.
